Bryants Road Vet – Personalised, professional care for your pets

Community Work

Bryant’s Road Vet is committed to helping sick, injured, or orphaned wildlife in our community, and to giving back wherever we can.

We provide initial assessment and treatment for native animals brought to the clinic, doing everything possible within our facilities and expertise to stabilise and support them.

Below are a few causes we proudly support and participate in.

The Smith Family

Bryants Road Vet is a monthly supporter of the Sponsor a Child initiative.

10,000 Australian children are waiting to be matched with a sponsor. Your help will ensure we can provide them with the critical educational resources they need to reach their full potential.

Caring for Wildlife

At Bryants Road Veterinary Surgery, we offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your pet healthy and happy. Whether it’s routine check-ups, vaccinations, or more complex medical care, our experienced team is here to provide the best possible treatment.

With a focus on personalised care, we take the time to get to know your pet, ensuring that every visit is tailored to their unique needs.

Wildlife Care and Referral Process

When wildlife such as birds, possums, reptiles, or marsupials are found in need of help, our veterinary team conducts triage, provides emergency care, and treats minor injuries if feasible.

For complex cases or animals requiring ongoing rehabilitation, we work closely with local wildlife carers and licensed rehabilitation organisations such as Wildcare Australia and the RSPCA Queensland Wildlife Hospital. Animals are referred or transported to these partners for specialist care and eventual release back into the wild when possible.

Our clinic is familiar with state guidelines and follows legal requirements to ensure wildlife receives appropriate care, minimising stress and prioritising welfare at every step.

If you encounter injured or orphaned wildlife, please contact our clinic for advice or call the RSPCA Wildlife Hotline on 1300 ANIMAL (1300 264 625), available 7am–7pm daily.
